This was my mother-in-law's recipe and it is delicious.

1 large can cherry or apple pie filling
1 large can pineapple chunks, drained
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 cup coconut
1 cup melted margarine

Preheat oven at 350.

Spread pie filling evenly in bottom of greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.

Arrange pineapple chunks over pie filling.

Sprinkle dry cake mix over fruit.

Cover with melted margarine.

Top with coconut and nuts.

Bake for one hour.

Eat with gusto!
